Using Technology as a Tool in the Classroom

As teachers, we struggle sometimes on how to teach certain subjects using technology. Because technology is so prevalent in the modern day world, collaboration is key to improving teaching strategies. In this blog, I would like for us to collaborate and post teaching strategies that use technology to help improve the classroom experience for our students. There are games, lessons, songs, and various other things online to help us help our students be successful.

I thought this was a very useful photo that could help all teachers incorporate technology into their classrooms. Very creative ideas.

This link also proved very helpful. It gave unique ways to incorporate technology without boring the students. I especially liked the geometry board game!

Here is a website I found that gives some ways to use technology in the classroom. I also think you can incorporate technology by using Kahoot! It's an app that allows students to get into groups or individually and take a quiz on specific skills. They earn points for every answer they get correct and on the quickness of their answer. My students love it.

Another way to use technology in the classroom is during centers. There are several learning websites students can use during center time to help with certain skills.
